General Campground Rules
Camping this year is both reservations and first-come-first serve. Everyone without reservations will need to check in before selecting a site to ensure that it is available. If sites are available, unattended camping vehicles and equipment cannot be left on a site unless fees are paid. Handicapped sites are reserved for persons with a state-issued ADA license plate or mirror tag. The person who has been issued the tag must be in residence at the site, and only one camp site may be rented by the individual. No more than two camping units per designated site (only one may be a wheeled or mobile unit; the second may be a tent occupied by immediate family members). A maximum of eight (8) people, including visitors, are allowed at each campsite. Designated non-profit groups such as scout troops will be allowed exemptions. Maximum stay beginning May 1, 2016 through September 30, 2016, is 21 consecutive days. Campers and their units must leave the campground for at least 14 days; you may go to another TVA campground. Check-out time is no later than 1:00 p.m. Quiet time is 10:p.m. - 6:00 a.m. Disruptive campers may be asked to vacate the campground without refund of their paid fees. Any music, generators or disruptive lighting must be turned off by 10:00 p.m. All trash, except fish debris, should be placed in dumpsters. Contact campground host on duty for pick up and disposal of fish scraps. All campfires must be kept within fire rings, and all firewood must be pre-cut and should not include construction debris or pallets. No out-of-county fire wood is allowed in the campground. DO NOT CUT, DAMAGE OR DRIVE NAILS INTO TREES and DO NOT BURN TRASH IN FIRE RINGS. All appliances must be kept inside the camping unit (no freezers or refrigerators are to be outsidce the unit). Satellite dishses, power cords, and pet cages must remain within the campsite area. DUMPING OF WASTE OR GREY WATER IS PROHIBITED. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND FIREWORKS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON TVA PROPERTY. Firearms are prohibited in the recreation areas with the exception of in-season hunting excursions which are permissible if they are unloaded and properly cased. OBSERVE POSTED SPEED LIMIT SIGNS THROUGH THE CAMPGROUND - 8 MPH.All sites except host sites and pull thru sites are back in only. NO CROSS WAY PARKING.
